OUR AMBASSADOR ARTIST HAS DROPPED AN EP ON HIS LABEL ... CHECK IT OUT!
Madi Simmons is quite often found in our VIP chat during our live shows rubbing elbows with our listeners whick garnished him title: SHYRICK AMBASSADOR ARTIST.
He sent us an email recently announcing his new ep entitled : I'M STILL HERE had just been cut loose on the scene, so we decided to check it out!
It is a thick 7 track treat written, produced and performed by MADI SIMMONS and put up on his own label : Dhsrmad Productions, (Follow this link to go there right now !)
We took time out to ask MADI SIMMONS a little about this recent drop and here's what he had to say:
SHYRICK: What was the motivation/ inspiration in putting this EP together ?
MADI SIMMONS: There were djs and supporters who heard "IM STILL HERE" so they were asking if I was going to release aN ep, so I decided to do, ...so it is by special request.
SHYRICK: The globe is burdened with what seems chronic turmoil and suffering at the moment. Now creating and holding positive vibes in smooth waters is easy, in your opinion what advice do you offer those who now need to find the same positivity in chaos?
MADI SIMMONS: I dont know if i have advice, I feel that we need to keep reaching out to each other, check in and give as much support as needed.
SHYRICK: You suffered the loss of your mother recently; the dj himself lost a family member, infact insurance agencies across the board say the US alone is experiencing a 40% increase in deaths over last year. What words of wisdom can you offer those who are struggling with loss and what words of wisdom can you offer those who are watching people grieve around them and not sure what to say or do to ?
MADI SIMMONS: Pray for comfort, keep the faith and hold on one second at a time !
SHYRICK: What does the future hold for MADI SIMONS camp music wise now that we all were treated to a thick and juicy 7 track EP?
MADI SIMMONS I am recording but am not booking any shows. I would love some sponsorship in Europe. As always give thanks and let me give a special thanks to SHYRICK radio and to you sistah Carla for all you do and have done.
