Music has always been in her blood with both parents as singers as well. Similarly to most artists in the business, her roots were watered in church choirs as well as competitions; yet the artist named "JOBY JAY" has only been on the professional musical scene since early 2019.
" I started doing music at the beginning of 2019, where I had my first live performance, after which I released my first single in December of 2019, and things have been going up ever since. I started by reaching out to Jeeby Lyricst, who at the time was hosting an event series called ‘Vibe Style Sessions’ at UWI, where he was showcasing known and upcoming artists. He gave me the opportunity to perform and that was my first time on a stage singing and performing as Joby Jay." She tells DANCEHALL MAGAZINE
And WOW what an amazing beginning for this lady. Her bold stroll onto the scene is certainly turning heads! And a lot of the attention has to be credited to her taking her career seriously by focusing on the details right down to the production/engineering of her tracks, always ensuring top notch quality is associated to her brand.
