Sista Dee always gave selflessly to the promotion of many Indie Reggae Artists on her radio program. She is also the mother of Detroit’s own King Mellowman, a vocalist himself.
Having been on the reggae scene for well over 40 years, she brought a wealth of musical knowledge to the table.
Sister Dee was a former lead singer with the Lemon Gospel Chorus and has also sung with some of the biggest names in gospel such as the late James Cleveland, Elma Hendrics, Donald Vail, and a host of others.
