CHECK OUT WHOSE IN FRONT IN THE GRAND JAM RACE

Grand Jam 2019 kicked off in grand style on Thursday Nov 15 . Friday Nov 16,  DJ Fatta Icon sent off the 27 contestants in a 3 hour LIVE KICK OFF PARTY and we here at SHYRICK wish each of them the best of luck.  

There is a lot of enthusiasm building around the  race the GRAND JAM WEBSITE has already seen well over 600 visits in the last three days.

Shyrick added a brand new category this year TOP INDIE COLLABORATION FOR 2019. And here's hows things are breaking down so far: 

The 27 artists have made it to the GRAND JAM by debuting their tracks in one of our monthly EVA FRESH live shows and were promoted by SHYRICK KREW in SOCIAL MEDIA as intending to 'MASH UP" our listeners to gain a seat in the GRAND JAM . 

Their tracks have also been dropped during our FREESTYLE Programs and 4 other monthly LIVE SPECIALS including RING THE BELL TRACK CHALLENGE where our listeners vote monthly for a "five track featuring" of their favorite artists in an upcoming VIRTUAL GLOBAL CLUB EXPERIENCE SHOW.

Promotional videos called "HIGHLIGHT REELS" were produced and promoted on Northern Europe's VK.com as well ( which has over 500 million accounts) all of these are used as a means to gauge listener interest in the track . 

 

Successfully  MASHING UP OUR GLOBAL LISTENER makes the artist a SHOW STOPPA here at SHYRICK and automatically sends them to GRAND JAM.  And yes we announce that as well in the social media. We here at SHYRICK  work hard to build traction for our artists within the industry, GRAND JAM is designed to build from that traction and launch the artist even further!

An interesting thing about this year's race... ROOTS REGGAE really pulled out all stops this year with an impressive showing . A lot of excellent Reggae vibes rolled into the station this year making for some wicked listening experience! 13 lions are running in TOP INDIE MALE REGGAE ARTIST FOR 2018 with  impressive talent :  and here's the stats for that race so far. 

Though running in a smaller pack the talent within the race for TOP INDIE FEMALE REGGAE ARTIST 2019  is by far no less impressive. Check it out, here's hows it going for the ladies so far 

We have had also an impressive showing from Africa in this year's race as well! From Jody Phibi running for TOP INDIE FEMALE DANCEHALLARTIST 2019, (Check out how her race is going .) to the boys in the best collaboration category: Pupa Ortis, T-Bwoy and T-Sean.

A massive "Big Up" has to go out to Jah Niceness whose running in 3 of the 7 categories ( Top Indie Male Reggae artist, Top Indie Male Vocalist of the year  and Top Collaboration) Check out how he's doing in the TOP INDIE MALE VOCALIST 2019 race:

Rickey Starr and Madi Simmons, Keith Campbell, Karl Morrison, Nateesha Stream, Kristine Alicia and Sophia Brown are each running in 2 categories. Here's how these 3 ladies are doing in the TOP INDIE FEMALE VOCALIST 2019 is going: 

Jay Banks is one of a few artists very familiar to the GRAND JAM  race, he is hunting for his second consecutive year TOP INDIE MALE DANCEHALL ARTIST 2019. having won last year's crown. Check out how the race is going for the dancehall gentlemen :

 Joining Jay Banks from last year's winners circle is  King Banton and  Madi Simmons as well.

One last  thing family, the polls will close Sunday Dec 30 and the count up party on Friday Jan 4. Mark that on your calendar, it's going to be a heck of a party! On the Grand Jam website there is a schedule of events that will be going down during the 6 week race featuring the artists running so come and support the best in INDIE DANCEHALL AND REGGAE VIBES .
