YuriVerse
is one of the most intriguing independent underground reggae artiste
coming out of Kingston, Jamaica. A revolutionary in word, sound and
music, he keeps evolving across musical boundaries. Born February
1st,
in August Town, YuriVerse uses his environment as an inspiration to
create and deliver positive songs of upliftment and “YuriVersal”
love. Introduced to the arts as a means of expression at a very young
age, music was always a part of his life and acting is also a passion
of his.
While
attending the University of the West Indies, he collaborated with
various artistes and started the Head Cornerstone Movement on campus
and that was where YuriVerse the reggae/ world music entertainer was
born. YuriVerse is an explosive and compelling entertainer with a
unique performance style which fuses dub poetry; roots reggae and hip
hop music genres. He has become the leading underground artiste and
one of the most unique artiste slated to come to the forefront of
roots reggae music in Jamaica and worldwide. This talented young
singer definitely has something special to offer to the world of
Music.
He
is currently set to release a slew of singles and also his first E.P
in 2015. YuriVerse’s features on Jamaican Television, radio
stations, and sold out performances at Nanook, Comfitanya, and Triple
Century Sports bar highlights the imminent rise of this young
superstar. He is making movements! So stay tuned for a fusion of
